"I have this as my performance target with my boss that I'm going to help stamp out binary thinking. We've been really, really good at delivering classroom learning and that's the panacea and it's going to fix everything. People talk about e-learning in the same way and I think that is a mistake. I think we are setting ourselves up for failure. Now that we can, we need to be able to deliver mixed modes of learning. We cut with a little finer scalpel. We deliver learning in a method that best supports people's needs and the subject to be taught. You can't teach effective teamwork entirely online. You just can't do it. You need to be face to face."
